Our Purpose
We are dedicated to finding great homes for neglected and abandoned animals in our community.


What We Do
· We provide shelter, medical treatment, food, exercise and love for the animals.
· We educate the public regarding animals and their needs.
· We establish relationships within the community that will support animal needs.
· We hold regular adoption events.
· We re-establish trust in abused animals and give them time to heal.



Where We Find The Animals
· Tied to a tree or post in a parking lot.
· Abandoned by owners who move and leave them behind.
· Streets of a city.
· Local shelters (animals that are scheduled to be euthanized).
· Relinquished by owners who can no longer care for the animal.
· Death of an owner.



Adoption
Cats: Adoptions are scheduled for Saturdays from Noon – 3:00 p.m. at Petsmart in Lake Forest located at 23602 El Toro Road in the Orange Tree Center and at Petsmart in Rancho Santa Margarita at 30515 Avenida De Las Flores (opposite end of Lowe’s).

Dogs: Our dog adoption events are scheduled on a regular basis at Petsmart in Lake Forest in the Orange Tree Center (El Toro Road at Rockfield) at 23602 El Toro Road. We also hold dog adoptions at the Petsmart in Rancho Santa Margarita located at 30515 Avenida De Las Flores (opposite end of Lowe’s). Adoptions are held in the afternoon and the dates and times will be posted on the web site. We offer appointments to view the dogs at the rescue ranch. Please call MRR at 714-649-4406 to set up a day and time.



Donations
We are a local grass-roots organization dependent upon the donations from our community. We hold fund-raising events throughout the year to assist with the finances. We gratefully receive donated items and checks from local businesses and neighbors. Every dollar donated to MRR goes directly to the needs of the animals.
